Ambient sounds?

does anybody know where to get some good ambient noises, like for an intro? you know, like when people are in an airport, sometimes there is a background track of a guy making announcements over a loudspeaker, or just some random audio sampling. where can i get these? or is it just something that you have to record on your own?
