Amazon Kindle Questions

Hey guys, I was hoping that some of you had some experience with Amazon Kindles. I'm about to buy one and I'm wondering whether I should shell out the extra 50 bucks for the kindle with 3g, or if it's just going to be a waste.

it depends on if you have a cellphone with internet/ a laptop already

3G will let you download books anywhere, without it you use your computer. You decide if you need it

Does anyone have experience with using a kindle in the place of college textbooks? If so were all the books you wanted available digitally?

ive got the wifi kindle and i love it. for me the 3g was not worth it. ive got a smart phone so i dont need a 3g kindle. but either way you wont be dissapointed the kindle rocks!!!

if you use that for college books, can you see color diagrams? cause if you can't than I'd say thats a bad idea.
