For all you video-shooting T2i nubs.

Us photogs don't bother with those flimsy cards.

I heard SanDisk is the most "faked"/ replicated card out there. kinda reluctant to buy one now :S anyone else have info about this?

'Course you do. So do I. We're awesome because we shoot onto CF. And we shoot onto CF, because we're awesome.

I wish CF card's weren't a dying media and were a bit cheaper. But until they officially die, I will be an elitest!

I will never buy a 32 or 64 GB for the sole purpose that if one gets corrupted I might not be able to resist banging my head on a metal beam.

When a 32gb card holds less than 30 minute of footage, 8gb cards are such a hassle for video, fine for stills or go pro though

uh... i dunno what you're shooting bro, but 1080p60 for me with a 32gb card is like 150 minutes... 28mbps.

San Disk never worked for me, I once shoot a whole day and had some excellent footage on the card and next thing i know, its gone....The card had worked in the past too. Once you go Pro Master you never go back (Other then the tacky name)

well... he was talking about sd cards.. i dunno what camera you're shooting with sd cards and a higher bit rate than 24/28mbps. 720p60 dvcprohd is 100mbps and i would get 35 min on a 32gb card...

but is that really worth it? when youre working with an h264 for avchd codec, whats the point of a higher bit rate? without the right codec, all youre doing is adding information to the picture that you dont need?

That's because Canon DSLRs aren't actually HD and don't have i-frame codecs. The 5DmkIII i-frame mode is supposedly disappointing at best.

I already have a couple 8gb's--just transcend, if I'm investing in some good cards I want them to be the best and I've yet to do my research yet so I figured i'd hold off for now
