Amazing Hydrophobic Spray only $20

Its out now? The only thing I've read in the past is that it wrecks breathability. So you can't cover an entire garment in it.
 
Maybe just the bottom cuffs and down the back. also wrist cuffs. you know, the problem areas.
 
Exactly what I had suggested in another thread. Knees, glove palms, shoulders (if your carrying gear and such) completely coat your pack with it to keep contents dry, etc...
 
That would be perfect. It definitely does affect breathability but applied in a few areas it would be nice
 
I can't imagine it being durable enough to last very long on your boots, but it would be cool on the topsheets. The real question is... what would happen if you put it on your bases?
 
Aha I think I suggested this to in that other thread...? I gotta dig it up at some point. I think I also suggested goggle lenses if it could somehow be applied smoothly and clearly without hurting the plastics of the goggle lens. Soooooo many uses though.
 
i like the idea of putting it on a backpack since i cant really imagine it messing the pack up. anybody actually use this stuff yet?
