Am I to short to ride surface outsiders?

I’m 5,6 115 and have been looking at some outsiders. They would be a pow ski and look like a lot of fun. However I don’t know if I can handle them as they are somewhat heavy. For context I usually ride a Vishnu wet 177.

you didn't specify which size lol so i'll assume you're talking about the 179cm. they won't be light but nothing insane, and they have about 3 micrometers of effective edge so they couldn't possibly be too hard to ski

you'll be fine. but i do wonder what the allure of those skis are at all

I want mad Steeze bruh

I have 189cm One Life’s, the OG outsiders. They are stupid fun, ridiculously stiff, and they rip. I use them as a playfull big mountain charging ski. They are pretty good at pointing straight and going mach potato through steep chop. And they can carve some serious trenches on groomers too with surprising success, the stiff transition from camber to rocker feels like a knife into the snow.

It’s the only speed I know. Characterized but the speed’s inherent disregard for obstacles and high degree of adrenaline production
