sooo..i recently purchased the 05/06 public enemys...i have ridden them a total of 7 times, and they are chipped and scratched as fuck.im not saying that i havent made minor scratches on them but the topsheet is actually coming off in some places. i have been burning some of it off lately with a lighter...the little "threads" of topsheet that are coming off.. and that makes the skis look somewhat decent. but the skis look 6 years old and i have been riding them for a month or two. is this just a defect? does anyone else have this problem?

mine got messed up real bad too. i think its just cuz the diffent colors are different pieces so they separate easy. just feel it in with epoxy.

yes.they might be fine. but all the other skis ihave ever seen do not scratch or chip like this..i am wondering why thefuck they do that...cuz i DID spend 600$ on these skis and i didnt expect them to be damaged like this a month later.

I got the same skis. The same thing has happened to me, but I dont really think it has much to do with the performance of the ski.
