i have a facebook but i only use it for the messaging and events. i know some people who are literally addicted to it though, shit's fucked.

I refused to give in for years... until a month ago. I agree that its a waste of time, but since I moved to a different school, its one of the best ways to stay in touch. Newschoolers is definately my site of choice though.
