Am I the only nser who's gonna be at Carroll?

I graduated from Carroll back in 2011...I was the lone NS'er there for 4 years. I am guessing you may be the lone-wolf BUT there are a lot of Helena NS'ers.

I loved every single minute of it. I found a great group of close (sadly non-skier ha ha) friends, and we had the time of our lives for four years. However, my amount of time spent on hill was greatly reduced compared to high school. Before I went there, I told myself that education would come first and skiing came second. I wanted to get through college as quick as I could with a major I could ski 3 days plus a week post college. Some people at other universities could ski 4 days and go to class, but I could not. I was paying for my education through scholarships and loans and did not want to make an extra victory lap at 30k a year.

BUT!...every christmas break, fall break, spring break, summer break was spent skiing either on Big Mountain or Mt. Hood. It just made every day I spent on skis that much more special.

I would love to answer anymore Carroll questions like who are the best teachers, what are the best classes, what are some majors, how do I hug the cross on St. Charles, or how to get into the tunnels.

haha thanks for offering i am planning on majoring in biology so the teacher selection for that will be slim but what about math and other classes? and what about getting rides up to the mountain? chances are i wont ever have a car there and will be needing rides to whatever mountain... do most people go to great divide? and is there anyone who goes up to bridger often or a group or something?

I graduated in Math, so I can give you a great low down on those professors ha ha. I graduated from Carroll a few years ago so hopefully most of these teachers are still here.

Have you signed up for classes?

As far as rides to mtns go, you are going to have to find your own sadly:( There were one or two weekends when people would bust down to Big Sky, but it was not every weekend.

Any more questions.
