on their site it said to put it like this but the rubber part of the strap is thick to where i cant properly tighten my boot.

I use them like that w no issue but I’m also in a 2 piece boot, might be bc urs is a 3 piece. I think u can go over the tongue too but personally I don’t find it as nice. I think it’s more personal preference and how you want the boot to feel.

there’s two camps:

-under the shell: I used to do this, i think it makes the flex more progressive, so softer-harder as you flex it.

-over the shell: I now do this, I think it stuffers up the whole cuff, makes the boot feel more responsive as a whole.

try both, it doesn’t matter what people say, if you like one way better; do it that way.

thing is it doesnt fit under or it doesnt without basically flexing the whole thing

your booster looks a little lower than i’m normally used to seeing,

I think most people with dropkicks but it over the tongue though.

In that case, just run it over the tongue and shell.

they’re game changers,

i will never ski a boot without booster straps and custom footbeds ever again.

No! The booster strap is supposed to go around your foot on the outside of the boot! That is why it is called a booster strap, to boost your skiing and make you ski faster.

Most people I know just put theirs over the tongue, I’d agree it probably works best for the three piece

The manufacturer states that they designed it to go under the cuff, only pressing on the liner. You can do whatever you like though, Ive seen both and both should feel different to a rigid power strap.

You can always cut off the top of the tongue if you’re feeling adventurous.

I do mine on the liner, too. But put it higher up on the cuff it will be more responsive.

is yours on the wrong side? You wanna be pulling it on the outside of the boot. Also if you rotate it around the boot you'll be able to pull it further before bottoming out on the rivets.
