yeah like i dont know how much fun I'm gonna have riding wet pluses down cirque or high baldy ?

It’s really not that crazy, guys used to ski insane big mountain lines and huck massive cork 3s into hot pow on 90 underfoot, full camber skis. Go watch CR Johnson’s Focused segment and you will see what I mean. Pow skis are great but they are by no means necessary to ski big terrain if you’re a good skier

Nah man, its definitely the gear, LOL what a bunch of fucking kooks.

There's a huge range of lines on the cirque and baldy. There's plenty of mellow stuff to start on (lower cirque and fields of glory for example). Just don't jump straight into anything gnarly and you'll be fine

yeah, I gotcha, Im discussing the gnarly stuff though, not really looking forward to skiing a 116 (wildcats) on hardpack, but it is what it is

You'll be fine with 116s on the cirque. The steeper chutes in the upper cirque almost always have a good layer of wind buff

As for baldy, it's really conditions dependent. Could be powder, slush, or nasty crust

Yeah that is true. I more so mean how soft the wets are. I would imagine it would be hard to charge that kind of terrain.
