yea so i just got a pair of demo Bluehouse MR 179's and i was looking at them and thinking they had a really high tip and tail. so i put them together and i found that they are rockered in the tips but mostly the tails. i think the skis must've lost some camber or something but they are intensely rockered in the tails, more so than the obsethed. am i retarded and are the skis rockered or is this weird? it's kinda sick, i'll bet they ski really well it's just strange to have it rockered that much. i'll post pics of it when they upload but these aren't next year's rocker prototype either as far as i know, just some regular MR's which is why this is strange.
so this is either the stupidest thread ever and i'm a retard for not knowing this, or this is strange and sick all at the same time. the skis still have totally regular camber and everything just rockered tips and tails, kinda like early rise
any other experience with this?
 
from what i knwo about bluehouse, your skis might be defective? you shoud shoot them a call for sure and explain whats up. and im sure there is a bluehouse rep on here somewhere

but no i like the rocker, i think it's sick, i was jw if anyone else has seen this
 
if they were not originally like that that means something in there is weakening. Since they are staying like that they won't be as responsive or poppy. It might be sick but its not worth an injury if they break. I'd talk to BH and see whats up. heh sorry to be a downer..
 
yea i'll get some pics up tonight i just dunno if i should contact bluehouse about it or not b/c they hooked me up with a demo pair for 100 bucks in sick condish and i don't think i can ask for a different pair, i personally like the rocker i think it'll be good in the tails for landings but if it's dangerous to use them, if the camber is shot and they'll break, i don't want to use them in that case. but i flexed them and they're still really snappy but it's mainly the tails that are the weakest

so i could get a new pair for 450 bucks or.....get a good condish pair for 100 shipped plus a free shirt and decal........jeepers, i'm an idiot

also everyone, the tails are just soft that's all, i bent them back and they're not rockered anymore haha. the bamboo in the tails is just weak that's all, it's not gonna break it's just a little weak and bendy. it's also only at the tip so it won't majorly affect the skis pop i don't think
 
haha i kno but it's not really like that, i made it sound like these things are plastic but it turns out i just didn't have them lined up right and that they really aren't rockered it's just the only way to hold them upright is to sorta squeeze them and then the tails push out and look rockered
problem solved, no biggie, if the tails snap off after i land something i can probably get a new pair but for now i don't really care and it's not a big deal at all

hah! ill take a pic or my t-halls tomorow. on one ski the nose is bent up, on the other its the tail. when i hold them together they look mad rockered and i feel really cool !
