unbalanced in an inrun could be a number of problems:
1. lack of skiing experience. A lack of experience and technique gives you a bad position anytime. On a bad position, turning, stopping and popping is compromised. Solution: take ski lessons.
2.sitting back on your skis. When your sitting back, your center of gravity changes. This change will throw you off balance when the snow plain angle changes. Solution, ski with your hands forward. This will force you in the center of your skis and stabilize you on the kick.
3. Lack of "pop" The pop, when correctly done helps you regain control of your angle of axis. In other you will become horizontal, then forward for the landing. As a bonus it avoid catching an edge on the lip. To pop, keep your weight forward, knees slightly bent and on the lip of the jump, extend your knees like a hop.
good luck
