Altitude sickness help

Kind of a weird situation, but during the 1st and 2nd run of every day of skiing I have had a migrane that has caused me to stop in the middle of the run and sit down for 5 minutes. Its throbbing and lingers for about 30 minues. Happened at Alta, the Bird, and even Deer Valley this week. I drink at least a liter of water before the slopes, 2 liters during, and 2 throughout the rest of the day. I go to Colorado once a year and dont usually get any sort of altitude sickness even when im skiing at 11-12,000 feet. Been taking motrin daily but cant figure it out.

Anyone have any experience with this?

harden the fuck up

jk this sounds kinda like a concussion imo i would get that checked out... i dunno if you hit your head or not but that was totally me while concussed...

Usually I feel pretty flu-like with altitude sickness. I know you can get migranes but having to sit for 5 mins in the middle of a run while well hydrated? You might have something else.

dont they sell bottles of oxygen at gas stations and such in CO? maybe try one of those out.

but yeah if it isnt a concussion the only other thing i could think of, would be that you are drinking so much water that you are flushing out all of your electrolytes. try drinking some coconut water as well and see if that helps.

I live really close to sea level so going to Colorado and places like that are rough on me if I don't drink enough water, but other than that I don't know what to tell you

Havent hit my head at all (or at least hard enough to be concussed). Ill definitely get it checked out though

Don't forget to eating enough as well, being hydrated at altitude is only half the battle. But, like others have said it sounds like you have a head injury or something going on bro.
