Planning a road trip for late March (17-24). Wondering how conditions will be during that time?

First time ever skiing out west and really the time to fulfill a lifelong dream. Any tips/comments would be appreciated. Best places to stay as well would be helpfull!

Usually deepest snowpack that time of year. If it’s snowing you’ll have great conditions. If it’s 35 and sunny you will also have great conditions.

March is the best month in utah period. Amazing snow, usually not cold as balls and the snowpack is fully developed so you wont hit anything

Awesome thanks guys. Any recommendation on where to stay on a budget?

You could just get away with some budget hotel off the highway in the city. Even something off I-15 and you’re still 30-40 min to Snowbird.

If you want to spend some more you can stay at Bird. Won’t have to leave. Hotel/bar/restaurants all right there. I’ve sctually never stayed the night there but been to many conferences. No complaints. Good place.
