Alta lodging help

Hey guys... haven't posted in awhile due to going to school in the shithole cornfest that is the midwest, but I am in need of your help.

I am planning a 2 man 4 day trip to the alta/snowbird on the week of march 13th and am looking for suggestions as far as relatively cheap lodging with access to both mountains goes. Open to any and all suggestions that would lead to a favorable experience for the week, as well as any general tips you may have regarding the area (I'm not worried about MFM). I have skied both resorts before, but not to the extent I would have liked due to being with family. Thanks for your help in advance.

Stay in sandy or midvale and take the bus to the mountain. If you want to get into the city just take the train.

Thats the cheapest way to do it.

Check airbnb. Thats what my buddies and I did. Ended up being like 3 or 400 for the week, which divided between us was pretty reasonable.

I've stayed in snowbirds cliff lodge, think that's the name (main hotel/lodge at third base). Did the trick, I'm sure it's not the cheapest option but it's right there.
