So, apparently, over the break i had 2 weeks ago, someone sessioned the main stair rail in front of my school, and no one told me!

Who is this? i wanna know waaaaaaaahh!

and that metal is WAY too soft for skis i thought, like you could dig right in, but hey, that kid pulled it off.

i want to know who this is.
 
Lets be honest with ourselves, does the kid on the rail right now really look like he would live if he hit the rail from the top? Didnt think so.
 
a double railing like that is practically a box. They worked hard on that inrun down the steps they could have just spent that time practicing on a down flat down box and then hit this rail from the top.
 
trust me, there is NO way you could do that rail from the top, I live really close to that rail and Ive been wanting to hit it, but its made out of stainless steel or something and youd dig your edges into it really easily. Im probably trying it this winter tho but I´ll bring a pair of skis without edges.
 
yea... it's steep as fuck and the metal looks more like alu then metal so catching on edge on teh flat part = death..

plus if you ever caught a ski between the 2 rails, you'd know there is a BIG difference between boxes and double rails like this one. easier to jib--> true but gnarlier are the crash too
