Here is my dilemma: I have a certain audio file I want to be able to use and edit.

It's in purevoice (.qpc) format, and I can't find any program or anything that will

1) play that file codec, or

2) convert it into something easier to work with, such as mp3, aiff, etc.

Help me out, I want this to play on my computer, but as of now, it's completely useless to me.

ha har! i've got you covered though fellow apple lover. After a quick google search I discovered this wonderful site http://media-convert.com/ so you don't even have to read the directions, go down halfway down the page where its shaded. Click the "choose file button", choose the file. If the auto detection doesn't work, down in the "sounds" section. you can pick .qcp. Then choose your output format as .mp3. I'm not sure how well this will work, but I would give it a try.
