Alpine Valley or Pine Knob in MI for ladies first day skiing?

Both places are pretty similar in terrain. Both have bunny hills. Id add Mt Holly to your list as well. Better lodge and such overall. In this order 1. Holly 2. PK 3. Alpine

Now as far as parks go thats a different story but this is for your lady.
 
Thanks for the info man we decided to hit up pine knob. Was perfect for her first day. Snow conditions were much better than my local hill in ohio. Happy Trails!
