Alpine Mountain moving focus to park

I know no one checks regionals but hey, lets be real...no one cares in ski gabber either. For those of you that havnt heard alpine mountain was sold via sealed auction during the past few months. The new owner is pumping about 5 million dollars into the outdated facilities and turning the focus over to the park, which is awesome news for the area. The mountain is located about 25 minutes from camelback and about 45 from big boulder. The new director of terrain parks has his head set on straight and hopefully this can be a new option for those in the nepa region that cannot afford to drive 45 minutes to big boulder everyday(and camelback? lol their park is going to go extinct soon.)

Figured id share the news for those that havnt seen and hopefully it turns out as sick as they say it will. for me, theyll have to earn my respect before i just throw money at them for a season pass.

Time will tell. Lots of places have "made terrain parks a major focus" but many of those really haven't done much. That said there does seem to be a push for smaller mountains to wake up and realize that terrain parks aren't going to die, there's a growing interest in them, and they set a mountain apart from others.

I'd like to see every mountain have a good park. Really not as much for the mountains, as for the kids. It sucks growing up with a shady sup par terrain park or even no park at all. It's amazing some of the talent that comes out of the most random places. Hopefully things work out
