Alpha1? Looking for a Stiff Ski..

I've been riding step ups for awhile because I like their construction. Specifically, I like that they're symmetrical and stiff and pretty poppy. But it's time to find a more durable ski for me. The Alpha1s look pretty stiff. They're not symmetric but I'm thinking that I won't notice that much of a difference even though I ski switch a lot. Plus they're pretty durable. What other skis are durable and stiff?

What should I look at?

Thanks for the Help NS!

Alpha 1's are pretty bomber with their triple zone core (three layers of burly ash throughout the ski). I was on those for the past couple years... Recently switched over to the AR7 which shares the same core and have been loving those just due to the fact I have a few extra mm to work with underfoot for bigger jumps and what not

But yeah you can't really go wrong with either of those skis. I'd say if you hit a bit more rails than jumps go with the Alpha 1, and vice versa. But they're both pretty damn stiff and won't wash out on you

Try on3p filthy riches. Theyre not super stiff but they are symmetrical and their literally bomb proof. Demo em....

if your looking for a stiff ski that charges hard the alpha 1 is definately the ski for you. there are many other skis out there that would work as well but the alphas charge like no other, lay down big filthy carves and are very stable all mountain and with jumps. i really dont think there are many better stiff but buttery skis out there. you will love them 100% guaranteed. other companies have knocked off this ski, but none of them have been able to match the design..

if you like riding switch just wait till next years Alpha X.. it is about 5-8 mm wider throughtout the whole ski and rides much better switch than this years do
