Alpha 1

i dont have any, but id mount them dead center. rode a friends with schizo bindings and thats the spot i liked them most. i ski 70% rails/boxes though.

I bought em off a guy off here. And theyre mounted 2.5 back not sure whether or not to bother centering them tho.

mine are center mounted, funnest park ski I've ever ridden. even mounted center I can still lay it down on groomers.

An important thing to consider with the alphas is that -2.5 cm is the center of the running length of the ski (the part with normal camber). Since there is more rocker in the toes, anything in front of the recommended line will have a more drastic influence than usual. Its kind of like mounting a regular camber ski in front of center.

That being said its all personal preference and there's still the overall length of the ski to consider. I just picked up a pair and mounted them at - 1.5 cm. Haven't ridden them yet, but definitely stoked for snow to drop.

yep, that point (-2.5) is called the "core" center, where as the center mark measuring from both tip/tail is called "true" center.

-1.5 is PERFECT. This is what most Armada pros ride them at (Casabon, Bellemare, Hornbeck). True center is completely unnecessary, 1.5 gives you the perfect balance between jibbing/jumping and actually skiing up to the features you're hitting. It also allows you to make use of the rocker on pow days, skis are surprisingly good in fresh snow
