alpha ones are a lil stiffer from what ive heard

Alpha 2 has the 1 Core (slightly heavier) and a differant base; $630 retail versus $699 for the Alpha

the differences of the alpha 1 & 2 are comparable to the AR6 vs. Pipe Cleaner

Alpha 1 (and Pipe Cleaner) feature a stiffer core and race base versus the Alpha 2 (and AR6) which are softer and a tougher base

have any of you guys skiied the alpha 1s? Im looking into getting them and want to know how they feel on jumps, and how does the funky width at the tips affect riding? does it help or what?
