Alpental open AGAIN?

I saw the kicker from Upper International, looked nice indeed. Who was rocking the EP Pro's out there today? I can't imagine how those were fun at all to ski through all of those moguls.

Haha, we talked to that guy for a little, and he was going balls out through the mogul's everywhere. Those look like amazing skis, I might have to buy a pair this summer to fulfill my rockered ski slot.

Is there going to be any footage or pictures of today's kicker session? I wish I could be jumping, but not until next year, I am lucky to even be skiing at all right now with my heel.

that little garbage can thing was a little silly, did you guys really think it would take more than 5 minutes for patrol to come tell you to take it all down? You built it on a chairlift for christ's sake.

best not be callin that nicks gap Rowen. So many of us worked on that shit, and my domepiece prolly saved that gingers ass

Nice work on that jump guys! It was pretty sick. I walked it off and it was a true 70' if you make the downside. That's pretty big. Great shots too! Crazy half cabs man!

Could be called Chip's Gap since the drop in is below Chip's Couloir.

Anyone else see the suspense filled addition to the Summits website? They haven't decided whether or not to be open for next weekend. I don't know about you all, but I could definitely use another weekend of skiing!

why can't you kids wear normal clothes? You all look goofy wearing shirts twice your size.

And don't get me started on your jersey billy, I expect you to wear that squid costume at all times.

I think we need to actually make that jump a little closer and actually build it up more to give you more loft... the landing is really wacky, it would be nicer to have an actual downslope. Ah well, maybe next year.

There certainly are. Stevens backcountry is dope too, I might have to do the double pass next year... if money allows.

Anyone have any ski plans next weekend?

ahhhhhh such a sick edit! you kids are so silly. i wish my knee wasnt so broken, otherwise i would have joined at least by playing photographer. i need to shoot more skiing, next year though, hopefully my body will allow for me to at least capture some sick shots if nothing else....

Did anybody else see the slide that covered the High T on sat. I got there right as it finished sliding, not deep enough for a burial but it ran fairly long, sketched me out a little as I had left my beacon at home. I saw most of you guys out there on sun I think but I was in the backcountry all day. Did anybody actually clear that large gap jump that was setup on sat, when we went by it looked like nobody had enough speed because the snow was so sticky. When the sun came out Stokes Bowl was really really nice and some other stuff out that way too, dont really know the names though, only skied alpental since stevens closed. If they're open next weekend I'll be there, if not I'll probably be skinng around stevens pass.

that was such a sweet jump, awesome size, but ghettoest landing everrr, and the lip was bigger then bubba's from forrest gump. Next time lets actually check out some better spots.

i'm with this cat. alpental has so much more to offer than spots to build big tables. in about half the time it took to make that jump, you could've made one of about ten other hits/jibs with way more potential. just my two cents.

I really wish I knew of these places!

But ya, the jump you guys built did look pretty steep and sudden. It probably would have been better to make a nicer take off a little bit closer and actually be able to clear it and throw stuff easier.

here's all you have to do:

look at any spot on the mountain

use your imagination

that's it. that's all there is to it. no joke, any jib fantasy you've ever had can be fulfilled at alpental. i've long dreamed of hitting this one very special tree jib/stall/bonk. it has the nicest tranny, and i have never seen anything even close to it in any ski movie.

getting stoned, gettin down with beezys and gettin down with beezys. come try us. crunk dizzle du dank. thanks shawn. haha. niggas.
