Heres my options...a) go skiing with my uncle in austria,during the christmas season ditching my parents and brother orb) stay in the U.S., ski at my shitty home mountain and "enjoy" Christmas with family
i dont know what i want to do, and i was wondering wht your opinios would beyou can drop the "cool story hansel" and all that shit i dont want to hear
 
I would go to Austria if your Uncle is basically paying for the whole thing. I mean thats a pretty sick oppuritunity, and I guess your still spending Christmas with your family, just not your immediate family. Also, European resorts are crazy.
 
how is this even a question? Austria, FOR SURE.

NEVER turn down an opportunity to travel, especially if it involves skiing in the Alps.

and yea, just celebrate before hand with your family. im sure they'll understand your decision.

My brother and my dad went to Japan for Christmas to ski a few years ago, and my family understood.
Austria. No Question.
 
yeah when i was young like 4 ish my family went out there for christmas and theres pictures of like actuall candles on the christmas tree! but my dad said it was like skiing in newyork because it was so icy so hope for good conditions!
 
Never mind the family vs skiing thing, you have an opportunity to go somewhere else and see a different culture. Austria it it.
 
tell your parents that you love them and ask if we (as a family) could celebrate Christmas earlier this year AND then go to austria

Tough call, you'd still technically be celebrating with family if you went so...
I guess it all comes down to how bad you want to spend time with you're family?

How did it even cross your mind to NOT go to the alps? I'd ditch everything and anyone to go on a trip like that.
