All the snow still at showdown

there is still a good snow depth around the mountain up to about 6 feet in places. me, my dad, tj and andy ferrin, carter lewis, and ty jacobs all hiked it on saturday. it was about 50 degrees and sunny. first we hiked to the top of the mountain, messed around a little with the ski area dog, tank, climbed the fire tower and ate some food. then everybody but me and my dad went to the park and began constructing a lip on the first table while my dad and i skied gun barrel. the snow on it was amazing. after skiing it we took a short hike and traverse over to the park right as the session began. i will get some pictures up soon, but for now this is showdown's webcam. that small face usually melts out in march.

i just went up today (may 14) and I (tj ferrin, andy ferrin and spencer mitchell, built a alright jump on the race hill, hard to get speed but when you did the jump was really nice. We dug down as far as we could and hit ground at about 3 feet. The jump is there still if anyone wants to hit it, please dont destroy it though becaseu we are planning on hitting it next week if it doesnt melt.
 
Dude, like half the mountain melted, it looks like the creek is flowing. these past 2 80 degree days probably killed it.
