Alice in Wonderland Hype Thread

Shutter Island looks better imo.

But Alice looks sick too. But I feel like Tim Burton is gonna stray pretty far from the story and do his own little thing.
 
Johnny Depp fucking ruined Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... i dont have high expectations.

Plus theres going to be a whole generation of douchey little kids who havent seen the originals of either and think the Depp versions are the best.
 
not really to hyped for it really just looks like another movie made just for johny depp, not to excited might go see it if im high or drunk enough ha
 
its a spin off. the maid from the brady bunch gets a job in a Wonder Bread factory where she cooks all day.

i dont have high expectations at all but i will be seeing this in imax 3d. manly just because i love cgi and this looks trippy as fuck.

Alison wonderland look legit. Going to see avatar a couple more time and then going to see that ass soo as it come out. Mushrooms, fungus, booomers, both ways. good times. Alice looks to be a little intense at parts but I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
 
i was stoked at first. im not sure about it any more though i feel like depp is just gonna turn it into some weird ass movie. original=fucking amazing
 
i heard it got bad reviews but i think its just because its tim burtons take on alice in wonderland, not what other people are expecting. i cant wait to see it though, i love depp/burton collaborations
 
It is a totally different storyline. I think that that was what the makers of the movie were going for, to make something new and completely original with a premise that nearly everyone is familiar with and will understand.

I think I'm going to see it sober doesn't really look trippy to me. No I'm kidding very stoned, Charlie and the chocolate factory was dope, and this is gonna be real dope, still tim burton needs to make something NOT with Disney, be so wild
 
That had to have been one of the biggest let downs in a long while. I honestly can't think of anything good to say about Alice. 1985's version of this movie was a hell of a lot more creepier than this crap.
 
Forgot to add that there is absolutely NO need to see this in 3-D if you go ... the effects are pretty damn minimal.

And yes ... I was smoking bark just the same as everyone else.
