I think the shot itself was set up better then Wallisch's too, the lighting, the full view, that mad steeze, the entire movie was awesome, this is just ONE of the many shots that took my breath away.
 
am i going to be the first one to tell everyone that tom wallisch name games are not funny and never were. i must be missing a funny gene or something. that would give all of you that think its funny 47 chromosomes or something.

ya not to mention that superpark jump was absolutely insane, way more scary than tommy's in my opinion
when durtschi hit it for the first time you realize how truly crazy that jump was
 
Durtschi's got BALLS, that was insane, no one wanted to hit that thing, and his quote after was priceless "The kids inspired me, they gave me a dollar" so crazy.
 
because I shot the video version of that. the bomb hole to his right is frank raymonds, and those are their sleds at the top. I am down slightly to left of where that photo is from. It is up in the sled zone known as Sproatt

sorry to get off the subject, but, did you make this, and if so, what program did you use, I've been looking for a screen capturing program.
 
I know what I'll be picking up tomorrow, I've been putting it off, but all of snow leopard is cheaper than any good screen capturing software. +K to you.
 
without moving an inch of he's body. like build a statue of him in the same afterbang pose and set it next to the jump because he flat out conquered that bitch.
 
thats funny cause tom did that a year ago on a jump that wasn't quite step over and was filmed up close and in slow motion. kind of dumb to say its innovative or even to compare the two.

Alexi's seemed soooooo smooth, and from what it sounds like the jump was super gnarly, especially to be zerospinning.
