used to be midwesterner alex norton won the sickbird belt and the extreme freeskiing championships at crested butte, and took 3rd place. apparently he was leading the pack going into the last round and then 'slightly bobbled' and ended up switch going off a 40 footer, and still stomped it, they said the slight bobble was considered a loss of control so he didnt win, but i have to say not bad for a kid who learned to ski in indiana in his first big mountain contest ever... (also one of the biggest)

Norton is such a cool person, and an amazing person. Even this big badass event hasn't changed him hes still humble, and chill as ever. Congrats to him.
