Album Cover Idea

Gonna put together an end of the year electro CD and this is what I whipped up for a cover in illustrator earlier... thoughts?

Oh yah, the squares say 2, 0, 0, 9 in case you didn't get it

i actually really like it. i cant think of something i would change with it.

the price of my feedback is a copy of said electro cd.

Final cover and tracklist... and to you ^, the squares aren't supposed to look like the numbers. Count the number of blue squares in each grouping to get the date.

actually gonna go with this one, still keeps to the idea of counting the blue blocks but now the squares resemble the numbers. Right side is the cover and left as the inner page.

Yeah this looks way better, I would of never got the first ones.

But did you really choose the nero remix of ghosts n stuff over deadmau5. Im ashamed.

original was just way too well known, I wasn't tryin to make a mix of songs I'd heard a thousand times already

Did you use those hands in cords from someone or were those yours.

I have a feeling I've seen them before, Nice idea if it is yours!

Add some small details to cover a bit more of the white, it seems too normal for an electro album, just my 2 cents tho.

yea, the photo's mine, took it for a school contest and posted it up here a while ago. I was thinkin about what you said about the white space. I'll definitely play around with it but i like the sterility of the white space.

In other cases great photo, and I would def watermark/copyright it next time you post it. I have seen some other people or places use a photo exactly like yours.

Sterility is nice, if you are sticking with that possibly accentuate the orange and blue to be more vibrant and eye-popping (Glossy).

Overall good concept.

I shoot with an oldish canon 20d, for lenses I've got a 14mm fisheye, 100mm f 2.8, 18-85mm f 4.0, and a 70-300. Most of the set shots are with a canon speedlite 430 ex popped off an 8x8 all white bounce.
