Al Dentes or Chronics?

I want a great all around park ski (Al Dente) but also want to be able to shed backcountry as well... I would say I am and intermediate to advanced freeskier. Any feedback would be sweet

I have the al Dantes. I skied them in killington, ride them in the park every day. They are so fun and playful, I highly recommend them. I rode the 2014 chronic's also and They are good but I would pick up the al Dantes every day over the chornic's, but both are solid skis though.

Al dente's edges wear out really easily

I rode 50+ days and the edges don't have any unusual wear, and no cracks compared to the cracks that form on most lower quality skis.

neither of those are going to "shred backcountry" relatively speaking, especially not the chronics

personally i dont see why anyone would consider line toy skis over armadas unless price is a primary concern

I would advise also looking into the Armada Arv-ti. It has a similar shape and construction to that of the al dente, but it incorporates a layer of titanal which makes it a little beefier and more capable of shredding your so called "backcountry". This being said I have owned both the aldente and chronic and would take the aldente hand over fist every time. The aldente is a far more capable all mountain ski and I found its size and flex provided an extremely refreshing perspective in the park. It's width made it super stable on rails and it's lightweight construction made it super responsive on all types of features, and you simply can't find a more buttery ski. I hope with helps, pm if you have anymore questions.
