Al Dente's In Pow

Whats the verdict? Would this be a good 1 ski quiver for someone that spends half their time on the east coast and around 10 days in Steamboat ?

Meh...they're a pretty decent platform for a moderate powder day, but when we get a foot or more on deep days out here you'd have a better time on a fat demo for the day. I have the JJ in 185 and it slays blower storms.

It's 100 underfoot ski with moderate tip rocker that is fairly soft, it would have been considered a pow specific ski 6 years ago. You'll be fine. You'll probably love them on a pow day.

al dentes. I ski stratton and they fucking kill it. Had a pow day with 18 inches and they destroy. sooooo much fun. I also recommend rossingnol SLATS

It's a park ski. It's not designed to float pillow fields, it's designed to butter into big jumps and tailpress rails.

You might be retarded, it's 100 under foot, with tip rocker and a soft flex. You obviously have zero idea of what the fuck is going on.

Im on the 168 al dente's and they seem to be slaying whatever I put before them, only problem Ive had is they feel different on rails, not quite as quick and active

Lol sounds like a moderately wide park ski. Definitely not a pow ski by any means, even if it can hold up to some fresh

I have skied plenty of deep days on hundred underfoot rockered pow skis and had a blast. Is it designed specifically for pow? No, but can you ski waist deep on them and have a great time, fuck yeah, they float fine. Tl:dr if you can't ski pow on a softer hundred underfoot tip rockered ski, you have no idea how to ski pow.
