Airport to Downtown Denver

Hey, So I'm flying into Denver on Jan 28th around noon. Do you guys know the best way to get into the city that won't cost a fortune? I was looking into the bus, but I don't know if I could take my ski bag with. Or if someone could possibly pick me up and I would pay for gas and a nice six pack of something?Thanks!
