Air Trekkers jumping stilts feedback

I'm considering purchasing a pair of Air Trekkers as a Christmas present for someone. A number of years ago I looked into getting a pair of these for myself, and seem to remember that all the amazing tricks in the showreels are on a special athlete-only model that is not available to the public. The website says you can jump 3-5 meters (over 15 feet) on them, but the home-videos I looked at on YouTube have people jumping between six inches and two feet.
Out of all the spoiled little rich kids on NS, someone must have some personal feedback on these. Are they worth the $350? Are they fun, or just a serious letdown? Is jumping over cars easy and carefree, or is jumping over a milk carton more realistic?

I had Powerisers once. They are the same thing. There are a few different brands out there that make the same stuff. Look around at all of them on different sites, and used ones on eBay to find a good price.

They are definitely fun. It can suck ass to fall so I'd suggest wearing some pads, especially at first. It takes some getting used to, and practice to run and jump well, but it is still a good time. I eventually sold them, but it was still really fun.

I have a pair of Air Trekkers and they're pretty sick, it's kinda scary getting that high on them but if you know how to do it, you can jump pretty damn high, maybe not 15 feet high, but high nonetheless. I've never tried jumping over anything, as I find that sketchy as all hell, but if you have the balls and ability, I think it's entirely possible.
