i just recieved a message from someone i hadnt been talking to that said "hey check out my new pic" and then had a link. when i clicked on the link it downloaded a file to the desktop "untitled" i cilcked on it and it shut down the computer (i felt pretty stupid after this) but i booted back up am now running a scan

so be careful...

 
i got one yesterday where they would have like Look at this ROFL! then have a link that you click on then sends it out to eveyone on your buddy list. i don't think it does anything to you computer though

haha, i doubt it was a virus. they are really easy to write. when you run them, they will shut down your computer. it was probably a batch file. the only thing he might have done is copied something into your start file or deleted some file, but i doubt it. message me i you want to get him back.
