Congrats to Sweetgrass for their really cool partnership with Phillips to make this extremely unique segment. I know their have been some cool night segments, but nothing on this scale.

I haven't seen the full thing yet, I'm pretty pumped about it. Everything seen to date suggests it should be the prettiest ski movie ever.

I had thought about this, then I had also thought about the consequences of an avy on one of those faces at night. But really, would the skiers be easier to spot as they moved with the avy because they're so well lit? If they stayed on top of the snow they would be super easy to spot and attend to, and if they we're burried, you would get light once you're close to digging them out. Fucking weird to think about what pow skiing would be like if this was the norm.

Luckily noone got caught up in any avys and we just ended up with some super sick and beautiful night skiing.

The cinematography was easily the best I've seen in any ski film. Like Valhalla, the editing still bothered me at a couple points but this was awesome.
