The skis are located at Lahout's Ski Shop...the oldest ski shop in America. I was a tech there for 6 years, but am moving to NJ on sunday to go to grad school...so I wont be working there this season...
Why did I post this? Because our Line order came in this morning and I know people were looking for Afterbangs IN STOCK. Aka, they would ship as soon as you called. I didn't set the price, the shop did.
Guess what, it's the retail price. If online shops want to lower it, then they can since its probably some warehouse with no storefront. They dont have any operating costs...just some dude behind a computer who passes on shipping info to some high school drop outs. (OMG, this is exactly how Backcountry is run!)
If you want to buy skis from an online website, go for it. I know they exist. If it's the sport you want to support, and you feel like helping out the few brick and morter, mom and pop shops that are left then buy from Lahout's and I will make sure I hook you up as best I can in the future...

no matter what, if ppl find em in an online store for cheaper they will buy them cheaper.. they are the exact same ski!!!
