Search barred, couldnt find much pertaining directly to my situation.

LOCATION- Pacific Northwest, Oregon, Skiing Hood and Mt Bachelor this year.

HEIGHT/AGE/WEIGHT- 5'10, 16 years old, 135lbs (skinny as fuck D:)

ABILITY LEVEL- Type 3

WHAT KIND OF SKI DO YOU WANT- Playful and poppy and buttery, yet something that can rip around. I've already got a pow ski in my arsenal. Ive narrowed it down to the Thall or the Abang.

50% Rails/Boxes

25% Random Side Jibs/Groomers

25% Jumps

They are pretty different skis, yet ive found that they both are what im looking for,

So newschoolers... for my situation...

176 Thall or 177 Afterbang?

Thanks guys. +k for your time.

i havent ever rode the afterbangs but i only have good things to say about my thalls there super poppy and buttery but also hold up on jumps i hear that afterbangs arent very good on bigger jumps with higher speeds hope that helps

Bump.

Just got my THalls back from being mounted with some Axial2 120s.

Question...

I asked for them to mount them true center, got them back at the shop and I could tell my boot was not centered, so I had them check it again. The tech who measured it said both bindings were not at center but about half a centimeter back. Is this .5 of a cm really gonna matter? Me being me I just took them and said it was fine.

Thanks.

you should get the a bangs if you want to have reverse park skis after 5 days of riding. or you could get t halls and have an awesome season on a ski that is going to perform, and last. your choice.
