After Effects/Premiere Pro Speed Ramping Help!!!!

SIMPLE.

So I know that speed ramping in premiere sucks dack because it doesn't speed ramp the sound as well. In after effects speed ramping is prime though. Anybody know the easiest way to speed ramp clips that are already in a premiere sequence? Currently I copy and paste the clip from premiere into ae and then speedramp in ae, then I'll just import the ae comps (containing the single clip) individually into premiere. Is there a faster way? I know there is the dynamic link but once again the speedramped audio doesn't work in premiere even if you link the sequence in ae and premiere.

In Premiere just cut the audio clip at the keyframes before you ramp, then rate stretch tool to match. Works good for me. Way less work.

that's cool, I didn't know you could do it that way. Can you tell me exactly how you do that?

-Unlink audio/video

-Select "show keyframes for time-remapping"

-Set keyframes for beginning and end of ramp

-cut audio clip at each keyframe

-slow video down to desired speed

-rate-stretch tool the audio to fill the gap

May not be the cleanest way to do it, but that's how I've done it for 2+ years haha
