i wanted to think of something creative to say but this thread is so idiotic I couldnt.

the cognitive dissonance you and the rest of the kiddos suffer from this post is epic.

your favorite "freestyle" skier trained in a speedo, and at the end of the day, ripped off freestyle skiing because they couldnt hang with the real aerialists, on the real quad kicker. they hit the baby water ramp switch because, BABY.

does [tag=134322]@Forrest.Gump[/tag] support the use of trampolines to learn new tricks, or does everything have to be sent straight to snow? My local park jump is very icy and only exists for less than 2 months a year.

i learned how to 1080 on east coast ice.

when i say training, i mean in a speedo at the aerial water ramps.

freestyle skiing is about progression, learning how to ski, building up tricks, landing things first try, because you worked for it. not because you sat at the water ramps for three months during the summer to "train" freestyle tricks.

every competitor at xgames will be a trained freestyle skier (oxymoronic) and that exclusivity has put a death grip on Real freestyle competitions.

Massive respect to everyone who’s able to learn all their tricks only on snow but I don’t think that’s realistic for all skiers. Quebec doesn’t even have public big air sized jumps anymore, the only way to keep up with other pros seems to be airbagging at Maximize all summer. Also I don’t see the harm in learning tricks more safely, sure it makes the sport more spin to win but it probably reduces injuries a ton. Also, in my opinion one of the most tasteful new big air skiers is Edjoy, and he is 100% a water ramp and airbag kid, there’s no other way to have that much air awareness at 18.

I dont think trampolines help at all, doesn't translate as much as people think other than air awareness
