Advice on new skis.

Hi,

I could use anyones feedback on a new pair of skis for me.

Height: 6'2

Weight: 180lbs

I ride Park:25% Mountain:75%

Skis on now: 03/04 K2 PE's 169cm, I feel that they are a decent ski all around ski but not quite what I need for my few trips out west.

I typically ski in the east but I do take week long trips out west and definetly love getting in the powder.

I was thinking more towards Volkl's or Armadas

If anyone could give me some advice that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 
6'2 and you have 169's? oh shit mang, thats way to small, u need at least 180's.

Definately get some fat skis, they just rule everywhere, even in park.

Armadas and Volkls are dope, its really just your preference on who you want to support and what graphics you like best. All ski companies are pretty dope these days. You cant go wrong with armada though, it sounds like they prob have the best warranty out there right now.
 
If you are thinking Volks, 183 Gotamas (190 would work too, but it would be a big jump from 169 PEs) and if you are thinking Armada, 185 ARVs. You could also go 188 JP vs Juliens or 191 ANTs but those are both straighter sidecut skis that wouldn't be all that versitile on the East Coast.
 
He's only out west for a week a year.

Look for Karmas or AR6s if your heart is set on those brands. I am your size and ski the Foil and it rocks. Next years MSP and Rossi Brigade (and Ghetto) are also sweet.
