Advice on Edges

Obviously, when you pretzel out of a rail, use your edges to throw you a certain direction off the rail, THAT edge wears down faster than others. For me, i grind right foot forward and do a lot of front side switch-ups and fs 270's out. there is much less edge on the inside of my right ski than the rest of my edges.
Question: Should I switch up the skis on my feet in order to ensure even edge wear, or fuck it?

Or, just click in to your skis backwards, so the front of your boot is locked into the heelpiece. That's another way to get even wear, and your topsheets will line up

it freaks me out i have no design match on my afterbangs but just the feel when i hit shit i can tell i got the wrong ski on the wrong foot. thats just how i am

It's not because of the tricks you do. If you slide right foot forward, your right edge wears faster. If you slide left foot forward, the left wears faster.

It's because most people slide rails with their leading ski up at an angle, with their inside edge planted on the rail, and their outside edge up a little. Your following ski usually stays planted flat.

see what I'm sayin, yo?

i see what your saying, but im the opposite of that... I slide right foot forward and do my scissoring with my left foot. or if im going for a 6 or 8 out, I use bot... but mostly back foot

you gotta keep doing it, the edges will wear evenly and you wont notice it soon and then your edges will last longer.

you're never supposed to keep your skis specific to one or the other foot no matter what kind of skiing your doing. i thought it was smart to keep them to specific sides, but my racing coach told me its bad for your edges...so obviously rails are harder on them and therefore you should frequently switch them.

i also go right foot forward and both of my skis have equal wear on the left edge...they could use a tune or so haha

Some skis like these: (http://skisreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/headjonolsson.jpg) have a graphic that goes in a specific direction, so you'd look stupid if you flipped it.

I personally am a little OCD about things like this, and I'm sure others are to.

At the OP. Def. switch them, it would SUCK to destroy the edge on one ski, and have it completely normal on your other ski.
