Advice on double backflips

Ok so I have been really eager lately to throw a double backflip and I need to know what type of snow I need how big the jump needs to be and advice on finding the best landing should I go backcountry or to a resort?

when in trouble, tuck for double

I came here to say this...

Its easier imo to throw new tricks backcountry because you can adjust speed, ramp angle, and landings way better than you can in park

A poppy jump with a lot of airtime and a really soft, steep landing would be best. make sure to dial in your speed before and do plenty huge single backflips to feel out the jump. Remember to pop with your hips and don't instantly throw your head straight back. Spot where you are after the first flip and you'll be able to time the second perfectly. Miss your spot and things could get dicey. Just be fully committed and you'll at least not land on your head.

TL;DR When in trouble.... you know the rest

throw backies on the smallest jumps possible, then just build a jump thats twice the size of those small jumps and then huck it just as hard, works everytime.

Landed my first one on Saturday. Go bigger than you think you need to. Just commit 100% and you'll be fine. When you go into the second flip you'll have a pretty good idea of how much time you have.

I tried my first dub this weekend and it was on a jump that was like 40 feet, and I think that's probably the best size to learn on. It helped that it was really warm and slushy because I slammed pretty hard on a couple but was able to get up and keep skiing. Here's a video for reference:

This was definitely my problem. Looking back on the vids I was retarded for speed checking lol. If there's still any snow left this weekend I'll give it another shot

you should be on a realy poppy 5-6 foot jump on a slushy day and do the same thing for a single but throw it harder, look and grab your knees and pray
