Adjusting FKS 140's

Whats up guys,

So I am going skiing this weekend up in New Hampshire, where it looks like a big storm is heading that way on thursday/friday, so I wanna bring out my fatter skis over my Fire Arrows.

I got new boots this summer, and my size changed from a 28.5 to a 27.5 after I had an actual bootfitter size me up. Anyway, so my pow skis have FKS 140's that were sized for a 325 BSL, and my new boots are 317 BSL, and cocking into the bindings now, I can say that they do not feel right. Now I ordered new Guardians, but they will not come in time for this weekend.

I know there is a way to adjust FKS's on my own without remounting them but will it be enough to accompany that BSL change? And if so could someone explain to me what to do? (I am not opposed to going to a shop for them to do it either, I just do not want a remount considering I am getting new bindings soon anyway)

well, if its an 8mm change you might be able to get away with it. i would honestly take them to a shop. your acls will thank you later...

the adjustablility maxes out at 8mm I believe, so if your bindings were set on the farthest size setting, which I am guessing they weren't, then you can adjust them without a problem. Someone else should explain how to adjust them since I have only seen people do it in person, while not doing it myself... I don't wanna singlehandedly fuck you up.
