Adjustable poles.

What are the best adjustable poles for me, I am 5'11" and will be using these from anything from a little park to big mountain freeride and pow any suggestions, maybe pollard''s paintbrush?

k2 party poles have never failed me. honestly think its better to have 2 pairs for park and for anything else, if they bend, youre done.

To chime in I have the Swix Sonic R1 in size medium 115-140 adjustability. They are the lightest alpine collapsable on the market and have a slew of pretty awesome features. They do MSRP at $249 so definitely on the high side of things.

I am by no way saying they are the best pole or even worth that price but they are good…but a lot of companies make good collapsable poles. I would stay away from the Black Diamond Traverse although they seem to be the most popular. The reason I say that is the lower part of the pole is very malleable and tends to bend and snap a fair amount. The BD pure carbon seems to be a solid pole and at $104 you get a solid carbon adjustable pole.

However, you mention you will be skiing park as well with them. I am always hesitant to recommend carbon in the park because, although light and strong, has a knack of snapping when you land on them rather than bending like an aluminum pole would.

Lastly, if you purchase them from somewhere like backcountry, they have a killer warranty that, if I am not mistaken, will replace poles if you break them.

I am just skiing a little bit of park, not enough to worth about breaking them. And 250 is a little much for me, I looked at the pure carbon and that looks like a really good pole and it is a decent price, i decided that that is what I am goin to get and it has a huge adjustability range so thankyou!
