Adding a transparent image over video clip?

Hey NS,

so i'm making a soccer highlight video for one of my friends in Pinnacle 14, and I am wondering if and how I can add a transparent image with an arrow over a video clip. The arrow provides for coaches to see the player before a play develops. Help is much appreciated!

make an arrow with photoshop. save the photo of the arrow infront of a blank background: not white, but nothing. you have to save the alpha chanel which is doable in PNG format.

sparknotes: make arrow with photoshop, no background save as png. use that
