used to work at microsoft, not sure if that's relevant to the story, but I worked in a giant building with a ton of people and everyoone was old/nerdy. There was only 1 hot guy in my building and he worked in IT. whenever we got errors, we'd send screen shots to IT. One time I was looking into different kinds of diets and was reading an article about cleansing diets, which ended up linking me to articles on colon cleansing and a few other articles. I had like 6 windows open and left them open for a while while working on something else and forgot about them. I wound up sending him a screen shot with an open tab that said "How to do a bowel cleanse." Then prayed and prayed he didn't see it- but got an email from him that said "you should close your tabs before taking screen shots "

99% of the time my ads were for Knockaround Sunglasses and some shitty headphones or backpacks, and I can say with 100% certainty that I have never searched anything related to Knockarounds, noise-canceling headphones, or weird hippie backpacks. Doesn't really matter anymore, as I stopped being an idiot and downloaded ad-block on Chrome.
