ACL Tears

i regret the decision i made soooo fucking bad...never jump at night into dark landings kids

that sounds like a freshie

and yea basically take everything everyones told you multiply it by 5 and then put that to the power of your fuckin draggin ass for the next 6 months, it blows as hard as it blows

dont know what u mean by freshie? but with what logan said trick was within my grasp but it never makes sense to huck yourself around when conditions arent primo...that being said when are conditions really ever perfect? well hardly at all so its a double edged sword here but u learn from mistakes...too bad mine had to be a bummed knee

I tore mine doing a trick that I have landed a thousand times on a pretty small jump, maybe 25-30 feet. I just landed sorta awkward in a slush pit. Although I was skiing while i had mono, so I am pretty lucky my spleen did not explode.

my ski got caught up and didnt release while jumping through trees. just skiing like i always do.

another thing to point out...i was skiing about a month before my injury and twisted my knee and felt some pain but it was only temporary...skied on it for a month and never had any issues, hucking myself wild...then the real acl tear happened...always get a knee injury checked out or any minor injury for that matter bc as someone who hates doctors and seeking any sort of medical help in general, it may save a larger injury further down the road, even if you dont think anything of it...because looking back at the first incident, i feel as if i strained it or partially tore my acl, only to have it fully rip out on a movement my knee has made a million times before

Mine didn't really hurt at all. I was hitting a rail at ruby hill in denver, did a frontside sw and just landed really akwardly, I wasn't being stupid and I have done that trick at least 100 times before, it was just a bad fall. 6 weeks out and I am pretty much healed!

I was actually just hitting a jump and overshot a bit and my knee kind of hurt, nothing out of the ordinary. Next time I hit the jump when I came down it just went.

at the time it hurt a bunch because i dislocated my knee. but soon after it doesnt hurt at all. just feels super unstable.

it didnt hurt a whole lot at all right when it happened. it was sore and super swollen as i went to the hospital. the presssure from the swelling was rediculous. The most pain is definitely post-op. one night i forgot to take mt PKs and i woke up screaming at 6 am. easily the most pain ive been in in my life.

i was doing a trick that ive nailed 100 times befor, but i just landed funky and completely tore my ACL.

exactly this, then i stupidly enough though it was nothing so i kept skiing an it eventually completely gave in after i landed of a rail. not so smart to keep skiing. Didnt hurt too bad tho i just had to calm down, but then it just felt weak.
