Accutain and drinking?

alright so i'm about to start, tomorrow probably. and i have decided i really dont' feel liek going a whole summer without getting drunk so what do u guys think. can u drink or are there other methods u have figured out to get by.

for those who are wondering yes i am currently drunk.
 
It can really fuck up your liver. It isn't worth it, so if you do drink go easy. If you do decided to get drunk, don't do it often because again, it can really fuck up your liver- it is why you have to get all those blood tests.
 
yeh be really carefull while ur on it. u get drunk piss easy and it stays with u for ages.. probs alright to do a bit but not all the time..
 
just think of it this way...

Accutain = good times long term, it fucking changed MY life for sure.

Alcohol (and I am drunk as fuck right now) = good for 7 hours max

make good LONG TERM decisions. Don;t fuck your liver, its your best friend later in life as you slowly kill it.
 
i tottaly agree with thecoyote. i used accutane without drinking for like 5 months, and the results were awesome. i not only look better, but i feel much better too. just get the accutane treatment over with, then have your fun. it's not worth ruining the whole treatment and spending all that money.
 
not true its the same as any other time take it from someone who knows. but yea youll be fine with a couple beers but take 'er easy. smoking is fine though
 
I used to get drunk on it occasionally...

By the way, it's the fucking SHIT... I haven't had ANY form of acne for 4 years now and I barely do much aside from regular soap on my face. It's fucking tight, the ladies love it.

Anyhow, just look out for it fucking with your head man... a couple times I caught myself feeling like SHIT and thinking everything was terrible in my life but then I'd remember that shit can cause those feelings and realizing it's a med makes it a lot easier to deal with.

Depression might seem all emo and all, but I am a fucking upbeat guy who doesn't take anything too seriously and occasionally that shit would fuck with me.

Enjoy though man, aside from lathering on moisturizer 24 hr/day you will not regret it.
 
thats wat i'm hoping for. Unfortunatly i'm a lifeguard who's life is basically to go site in the sun all day and then drink all night so my summer is gonna be mad harsh this year. spf 100000 all summer.
 
well obviously its not good to drink while on it cause they tell you not to but do what you want, i doubt thatll stop you anyways
 
o yea and buy chapstick by the dozen. that was the only side affect for me. no deppression or anything, just mad chapped lips and even ears.
 
umm i waas on accutane and some of my friends were and i smoked and they all stil drank and thy r fine unless they r dieing inside and jsut dont no it
 
yeah ive been on it for like 2.5 months, and have been battling myself trying to not drink. i havent so far. i just think i mean its like a few damn months. i think a 16 year old can make it like 5 months without drinking.

i guess it also depends on ur age. someone in college or older is gonna wanna drink a lot more. but yeah. in my opinion i say just wait it out. accutane seems like some powerfull ass shit. i think ive signed 1,577,800 papers since ive been on it. and i had serious join pain when i started, and dry as nuts skin n lips.

AND DONT GET PREGNANT! apparently...
 
prepared to be fucked up. Taking it in the summer is a bad idea. Especially if you are a lifeguard. You are going to be mad dry all the time. I was on it for 8 months. Was a dried up loser for all of grade 10, but thats grade 10... It changed my life. No acne. If I tell people I used to have the worst acne ever, they dont believe me.

yeah accutain its the fucking shit..i took it like 6 or 7 years ago and get like 1 zit a year or so
 
this is an ironic thread cause i am on my third day of taking it. im super stoked for these 5 months to be over cause backne sucks
