Acceptable for goggle straps to be over your helmet?

i wear my goggles underneath my helmit, its so much more comfy and doesnt make you look like a gaper...

You aren't suppose to put anything under your helmet. In order for the helmet to function as it was intended it should fit snugly around the entire circumference of your skull. If you have room to fit a beanie, goggle strap, etc, it's probably not a good fit.

And there's no way that I could get a helmet big enough to fit a beanie and my goggle strap inside my helmet.

I truly never understood the beanie/helmet under goggle thing. I rock a Giro MX its warm, comfortable, and protects me. I rock goggles on the outside its way more comfortable and fits better. Worst case ill rock a under armor head thing t keep me warmer.

How would you not wear a beanie under your helmet? that sounds awful.

I agree to your pint, but wearing a google strap underneath, being that it is tight, I don't believe you are putting yourself at that much more of a risk

My helmet fits the shape of my head, and is comfortable and warm, so there's no reason to wear anything underneath.

And my goggle strap has a big 'ole plastic clip in the back of them. How is that comfortable under a helmet?
