About When is the Summit season going to start this season?

im guessing November, possible before thanksgiving, October doesnt look to good but after that it looks like pow in the mountains.
 
Its different every year. No one on here can give you an answer that's i not completely pulled out of their ass. And anyone who thinks they can is stoopid.
 
I can 100% guarantee that they will be open by halloween. I ski pow every year on halloween, this will be no different~
 
the real question is, why the hell are you skiing summit? the only part of snocompton worth riding is the alpy BC when its very cold and has snowed a good amount

Ignore mrstskier... Alpy BC sucks. It's crowded and um, unpatrolled. Don't go there. There's never powder. stop thinking about it. Stay in the park trust me.
 
i'm gonna say december 2nd. rough estimate. i just really doubt they'll have a good enough cover by thanksgiving..
 
believe me, I wish i could ski another mountain, but I don't have much money for a seasons pass to stevens or crystal. Baker would be tight but the gas money to get up there on a regular basis would just be too much :(
 
december probably but its possible to happen earlier climate forecasts call for a increase in percipitation by november and a cold trend kicking in in december
 
Earlier today, a buddy of mine told me that he was going up there for a hike. He said that he'd "tell me if there are any signs of winter."

I replied that even during the winter, it's hard to find signs of winter at Snoqualmie.
 
Alpental has got to one of my favorite places. And the lines are 4 times shorter than crystal's.
